Throughout these terms and conditions, the terms 'Urbanmop,' 'we,' or 'us' refer to Urbanmop.com. The term 'you' pertains to the user of our services or the viewer of our website.
- The content on this website is provided for the purpose of explaining and implementing our services. It is subject to change without prior notice.
- Urbanmop reserves the right to modify, amend, cancel, or make exceptions to the listed terms and conditions. We advise you to periodically review this page. By utilizing our services, you acknowledge your agreement with our terms and conditions.
- The Terms and Conditions do not create any partnership, joint venture, or agency between you and Urbanmop. You do not have any authority to bind Urbanmop in any way. Urbanmop shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations arising from reasons beyond its reasonable control, including electronic, mechanical, or communications failures.
- All materials on the website are either owned by us or licensed to us. This includes the layout, design, look, appearance, graphics, and other related elements. Reproduction is strictly prohibited without complying with the copyright notice, which is a part of these terms and conditions.
- You agree not to engage in unauthorized use of the materials and information on the website.
- Our website may contain links to other external websites for your convenience and to provide further information. We do not guarantee the accuracy or correctness of the content found on these external links.
- Your use of this website and any disputes arising from such use are subject to the local laws of UAE Main Courts.
- When you book a service through Urbanmop, we will facilitate the service for your cleaning needs. Once the cleaning is completed, the fees paid to our cleaners/cleaning company partners are generally non-refundable, except in cases of company-caused violations. The pricing scheme may be updated by the Company going forward. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, except taxes based on our income.
- Urbanmop may change rates and fees by providing a 10-day advance notice on the Urbanmop website. However, temporary promotions or changes that result in rate reductions may not require advance notice.
- Urbanmop cannot be held responsible for the unlawful acts of cleaners/cleaning company partners and users.
- Urbanmop performs background checks on cleaners/cleaning company partners, both directly and indirectly through third-party background check services. However, users should exercise caution and common sense to ensure personal safety and protect their property. By using the services of the cleaner/cleaning company partner through Urbanmop, users agree to hold Urbanmop free from liability for any damages and/or missing items.
- Urbanmop will charge you for your confirmed bookings using the payment method specified on the website, such as a credit card or cash. If you pay with a credit card, we may seek pre-authorization of your credit card account prior to your purchase.
- If you choose to pay by credit card, you, as the cardholder, must retain a copy of transaction records along with our policies and rules.
- It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of all information in your account.
- To cancel a booking, you must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice in written format sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We reserve the right to levy a charge of up to AED 100 to cover relevant administrative expenses.
- Minors or individuals under the age of 18 are not allowed to register as users or transact on our website.
- Urbanmop has the right to impose penalties on its cleaning service provider partners in cases of damage to houses or house interiors to protect the community. However, any damage to the client's belongings or house interiors during the cleaning session is solely the client's responsibility. Urbanmop is not accountable for such damages during entry or exit from the house. Cleaners/cleaning company partners or Urbanmop are not obliged to cover any damages caused during the cleaning session.
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect. Urbanmop may transfer, assign, or delegate the Terms and Conditions and its rights and obligations without consent.
- Urbanmop will not engage in trade or provide services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
- For communication purposes such as appointment confirmation, updates, and marketing, Urbanmop may send messages via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or notifications.
- Urbanmop is a booking platform that aggregates various home services, including but not limited to home cleaning, PCR tests at home, salon services, maintenance, car wash, laundry and dry cleaning, upholstery cleaning, disinfection services, and pest control. Urbanmop contracts with third-party partners who are licensed by the relevant authorities.
- For PCR services, Urbanmop serves as an aggregator of DHA-licensed healthcare facilities and does not store any personal healthcare data and information. All user medical data is private and stored by the DHA-licensed healthcare facilities. The healthcare facilities are responsible for delivering quality healthcare to users and storing their personal medical data where applicable.
Method of Payment, Card Types Accepted, and Currency:
- We accept online payments using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards in AED or any other agreed currency.
- Refunds will only be issued through the original mode of payment.
- Refunds can take upto 30 days to reflect into your respective mode of original payment.
- Refunds can only be processed in case of any service is not delivered or cancelled due to non availibility of urbanmop or any of its authorised partners.
- Refunds will not be initiated in case when the customer is not available on site to provide access or to avail the scheduled service. In such cases the booking will be considered as completed.
Quality Assurance Program / Quality Control Policy:
- We conduct random quality inspections on a regular basis to review the work quality of our crew members during their shifts.
- Our quality checks consist of unannounced visits to ensure proper uniformed appearance and thorough performance of duties, on-site inspections with the cleaner and/or the client during regular business hours, and follow-up calls by our customer service agents after the session has been completed.
You can report missing or stolen items within 48 hours and damaged items within 24 hours.
